Phosphate concentrate is a product of phosphate ore (mainly composed of apatite) that has been enriched and purified through mineral processing. It is the main raw material for the production of phosphate chemical products such as phosphoric acid and phosphate fertilizer. After mining, the phosphate rock has a high moisture content after washing, generally ranging from 30% to 50%. If directly entering the reaction kettle, it will cause uneven heating of the materials, insufficient reaction, affect conversion efficiency, and even cause local pressure fluctuations due to sudden vaporization of water, leading to safety accidents. Therefore, the phosphate concentrate dryer is a key pre process for achieving the conversion of phosphate ore from "ore" to "fertilizer".
The phosphate concentrate dryer is mainly composed of key components such as the plate, hot air furnace, drum, conveyor, electric control system, and discharge valve.
The copying board is evenly distributed inside the cylinder, continuously lifting and scattering the phosphate concentrate during the rotation of the equipment, allowing the material to fully contact with the hot air, significantly improving heat transfer efficiency and avoiding material accumulation.
The hot air furnace provides a stable high-temperature heat source for the drying system, and achieves precise control of the moisture content of the discharged material by adjusting the combustion intensity and air volume.
The discharge valve is installed at the discharge end, which can provide a sealing effect while continuously discharging, improving overall drying efficiency and operational safety.
Technical principle: Phosphate concentrate materials containing moisture are first transported into the dryer drum through a conveyor, where they come into full contact with high-temperature hot air, causing the moisture of the phosphate concentrate material to evaporate. In addition, with the special structural device inside the drum of the phosphate concentrate dryer, the contact area between the phosphate concentrate material and high-temperature hot air is further increased, thereby further evaporating and drying the moisture of the phosphate concentrate material. As the drum dryer continues to rotate until the dried phosphate concentrate material is discharged from the discharge port, the entire process of drying the phosphate concentrate material is achieved.
1. Optimize the arrangement of multi angle plates inside the cylinder to form a uniform material curtain during the flipping and scattering process of phosphate concentrate, fully contact with hot air, and shorten the drying time.
2. Adopting hot air circulation and reasonable air duct design to reduce heat loss, fully recover waste heat, and significantly reduce fuel consumption while ensuring drying effect.
3. Only by adjusting the temperature, air volume, and cylinder speed of the hot air can the moisture content of the phosphate concentrate be stably controlled within the process requirements, ensuring uniform drying.
4. Continuous feeding and discharging, suitable for large-scale industrial production.
The use of a phosphate concentrate dryer to dry phosphate concentrate before producing phosphate fertilizer is of great use for reducing production costs and promoting the effective utilization of phosphorus resources. Many mineral processing plants face a confusing problem: even with the same processing capacity, some copper concentrate drying lines consume far more fuel and power than others. The energy gap usually reaches 20%–40% in actual operation. The difference i
Utilizing boiler exhaust gas (120°C–180°C) from a power plant as the heat source for a fly ash dryer is a core strategy for reducing costs in fly ash recovery projects. However, three key issues must be addressed in practice:
Freshly washed sand retains too much surface moisture, unsuitable for direct storage, transportation or end-use processing. For sand production plants, professional sand drying equipment is essential to consistently reduce moisture and qualify finished sa
In the slag processing industry, traditional drying equipment often suffers from issues such as low thermal efficiency, rapid heat loss, and poor sealing, resulting in significant energy waste and high drying costs. In reality, the key to overcoming these
