Sand is an important building material. Whether it is m-sand or natural sand, the water content is relatively high. However, sand used in construction requires less than 3% moisture. Therefore, a sand dryer is needed to reduce the moisture content of sand.
Sand dryer is an industrial-grade drying equipment, it can dry river sand, silica sand, quartz sand, ore powder, coal ash and various of materials. The sand dryer has a significant drying effect. Sand with a moisture content of 10% can reduce to 1%, and the mineral slag with a moisture of 18% can reduce to 2%. It is a very important equipment in construction industry.
The sand drying line mainly include: sand washing machine, hot-air furnace, feeding and discharging equipment, drying drum, conveying equipment, cooling system, dust removal system, control system, etc. When working, the wet sand washed by the sand washing machine is fed into the feeding port by a belt conveyor, and the drying medium (air or flue gas) is heated by a hot air stove. It is then fed into the drying drum in a forward or backward flow and comes into contact with the wet sand. The cylinder is equipped with a feeding plate that lifts the sand while rotating, ensuring full contact between wet sand and heat medium, and removing moisture. Dry sand is discharged from the discharge outlet after cooling.
