Fly ash is the fine ash collected from the flue gas after coal combustion. It is the main solid waste discharged by coal-fired power plants. Fly ash contains some toxic components. If it is not treated, it will cause harm to the human body and the environment. However, fly ash can be used as a resource, such as in the cement and concrete industry, construction industry, agriculture, environmental protection industry and other industries.
Fly ash dryer is designed for the characteristics of fly ash, which has higher initial moisture content than other materials, smaller specific gravity than other materials, and greater fluidity changes during drying. It has a compact structure, small footprint, and 50% less floor space than a single-drum dryer. It has low energy consumption, high thermal efficiency, good material drying effect, and a high degree of automation.
Working principle of fly ash dryer: wet fly ash enters the inner layer of the three-layer drum from the feeding device to achieve downstream drying. Fly ash is continuously picked up and scattered under the inner layer's copying board to achieve heat exchange in a spiral manner. The material moves to the other end of the inner layer and enters the middle layer for countercurrent drying. The material is repeatedly lifted in the middle layer, taking two steps forward and one step back. The material in the middle layer fully absorbs the heat emitted by the inner drum and the heat of the middle drum, while extending the drying time. The material reaches a dry state here. The material moves to the other end of the middle layer and falls into the outer layer. The material moves in a rectangular multi-circuit manner in the outer drum. The material that achieves the drying effect moves quickly out of the drum under the action of hot air. The wet material that does not achieve the drying effect cannot move quickly due to its own weight. The material is fully dried in this rectangular copying board, thereby achieving the drying effect and completing the drying process.
When purchasing a fly ash dryer, you need to consider multiple factors to ensure that you purchase equipment that meets production needs and is economical and practical. Here are some specific purchase suggestions:
1. Analyze processing capacity
The processing capacity of the fly ash dryer should match the actual needs. Too high or too low processing capacity may lead to waste of resources or reduced production efficiency.
2. Inspect the quality of the equipment
Choose a manufacturer with good reputation and reputation to ensure that the equipment is reliable and stable. Understand the technical parameters of the equipment such as drying efficiency, energy consumption, and drying effect in detail to ensure that the equipment performance meets production needs.
3. Pay attention to drying effect
Communicate in detail with the fly ash dryer manufacturer about the drying degree requirements of fly ash to ensure that the equipment can achieve the expected drying effect.
4. Consider energy consumption
Choose a fly ash dryer with low energy consumption to reduce production costs. Understand whether the equipment has waste heat recovery function to improve energy utilization efficiency.
