Kaolin has the characteristics of high whiteness, soft texture, easy dispersion and suspension in water, and has good plasticity, high adhesion, excellent electrical insulation, good acid solubility, low cation exchange capacity, good fire resistance and other physical and chemical properties. Kaolin rotary kiln is the main equipment for producing kaolin, it is used for kaolin production and sintering. Generally, the rotary kiln temperature is required to reach above 950℃. Kaolin rotary kiln is also called kaolin calcining kiln. It can also be used for bauxite calcination, magnesium oxide calcination, zinc oxide calcination, etc.

When the kaolin rotary kiln starts working, the kaolin raw materials enter the cylinder from the kiln tail through the preheater. Due to the inclined installation and slow rotation of the cylinder, the raw materials produce a compound motion that rolls along the circumferential direction and moves from the higher end to the lower end along the axial direction. After the raw materials are decomposed and burned in the kiln, the finished clinker is unloaded from the kiln head (lower end) and enters the cooler.
